The dermaroller, also known by many other names such as microneedle therapy system (MTS), microneedle roller, skin roller, collagen induction therapy (CIT) system, etc, is an innovative hand tool used to increase effective delivery of active ingredients in skincare products, used to treat scars and wrinkles, and used by some to treat alopecia among its many uses.

How it works
MTS는 어떻게 작동하는가?
By rolling the dermaroller on the skin, micro punctures and channels are created.
MTS를 피부에 굴림으로써 미세한 구멍과 통로가 생성된다.
This serves two purposes.
이 구멍은 두가지 목적을 한다.
First, it induces collagen/elastin production naturally by the skin through the release of growth factors.
첫째 성장 인자를 방출함을 통하여 피부에 자연적으로 콜라겐(진피 교원섬유)과 엘라스틴(진피 탄력섬유)를 형성한다.
Second, by applying a topical cream/lotion/serum on the skin and rolling the derma roller over it, absorption and penetration of active ingredients is enhanced hundreds of times (normal skin absorption of topical application is as low as 0.3%) as they seep deep into the skin through the micro channels exerting their beneficial effects.
둘째로 피부에 국소적인 크림, 로숀, 세럼을 제공하여 MTS를 그 위에 굴리고, 활동적인 영양물질의 흡수와 통과는 몇백배 증가된다. 정상적인 국소적인 피부 흡수는 약 0.3%로 낮은 반면에 그들은 혜택있는 효과를 노력하는 미세 통로를 통하여 더 피부 깊게 침투한다.
